"Form #1035043: Holt Manufacturing"
The frame is hand-crafted of reclaimed wood, beautifully finished in distressed black satin paint.
The piece inside the frame is an original 1940s foundry form from Holt Manufacturing of Independence, Oregon.
The condition of the form is all original (you can see that the form was actually used) and the colors are authentic casting paint shades used at the time of manufacturing; individual colors told the finishing team how to machine the final castings. Metal pieces on the ends were used for hanging the forms when not in use.
It’s a very cool piece of Americana and urban art.
It would be the perfect piece for any loft, industrial-themed space, microbrewery, or restaurant.
